Order in October 2006 created a legal
requirement for improved testing and
operation procedures and responsibility.
According
to British Standards Code
of Practice BS5839-1; where
a third party maintains a
system there should be an
emergency call out agreement
such that on a 24 hour basis
a technician can attend site
within eight hours of a call
out. In response to these
changes, we have introduced
a fully reliable and accountable
support centre open to offer
those people additional support
24 hours a day. Research has
shown that personnel with
responsibility for fire safety
want and appreciate additional
support with these challenges.
Your membership to Emergency
Fire Solutions helps ensure
that as soon as possible your
customers' fire alarms are
operational following a fault
or activation; ensuring protection
is promptly restored on each
premises, day or night. To
ensure that you can provide
this we aim to be on site
within just four hours. A
call out will only be necessary
if the problem cannot be resolved
on the phone by one of our
highly trained call centre
analysts.
